DAY 1 - FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2014

DAY 2 - SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2014

9:30 AM                 Approximate arrival in Washington, D.C. where you will meet your tour guide at the Old Post Office
Pavilion who will show you the sites of area - 12th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Receive a meal voucher for your lunch at the Ronald Reagan Building

2:00 PM                 Arlington National Cemetery - This most hallowed burial ground is America's premier military cemetery where those who have served our nation are laid to rest with dignity and honor.  Over 4 million visitors each year witness the Changing of the Guard at The Tomb of the Unknowns and pay their respects at gravesides and memorials.

2:45 PM                 Report to the Tomb Guard Quarters located at the Memorial Amphitheater to check in at least 30- minutes prior to your scheduled wreath ceremony.

3:15 PM                 Up to 4 participants from Oakview Middle School will have the opportunity to take part in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns.

7:00 PM                 Boarding at Pier 4

7:30 PM                 Moonlight Cruise - Enjoy a delicious dinner as you cruise down the Potomac River on the beautiful Spirit of Washington.  After dinner, you can relax and watch the view or dance to top hits spun by a DJ.  This
is sure to be the highlight of your trip to Washington, DC.

10:00 PM         Cruise ends. Board coach and depart for the hotel to check-in: Holiday Inn Express

DAY 3 - SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2014

9:00 AM                 Ford's Theatre - Ford's Theatre is the site of the assassination of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln on April 14, 1865. The Fords Theatre Society works to present the Theatres nearly one million visitors each year with a high quality historic and cultural experience. Its work is what makes this vibrant historic site an important tool for promoting the ideals of leadership, humanity and wisdom espoused by Abraham Lincoln.

11:00 AM         United States Holocaust Memorial Museum - This museum serves as America's national institution for the study of the Holocaust and memorializes the millions of people murdered.  It hopes to broaden understanding of the history of the Holocaust. Your admission includes access to the Permanent Exhibit.

National Air and Space Museum - The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, is home to the original Wright 1903 flyer, the Spirit of St. Louis, the Apollo 11 command module, a lunar rock sample, and more.

National Museum of Natural History - This Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC explores cultures of
Africa, Mammalian ancestors, dinosaurs, and gems.

3:30 PM                 Timed entry to the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration. Established in 1934, NARA serves as the official repository for all federal records judged to be of enduring value. In the Rotunda, here, you'll view the famous Charters of Freedomthe original Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.

National Museum of American History - This Smithsonian Museum's collection of Americana includes the original Star-Spangled Banner, Abraham Lincoln's top hat, and Dorothy's ruby slippers.  Exhibits portray our wars, Presidents, and First Ladies.

5:15 PM                 Toby's Dinner Theatre - Enjoy a buffet-style dinner while taking in this dynamic experience of Spamalot in the round.

Show starts at 7:00 pm

10:30 PM         Board the motorcoach and depart for the hotel

DAY 4 - MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2014

ALL                             7:00 AM                 Enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast at your hotel.

8:00 AM                 Depart the hotel for Embassy Row. Heading west from Dupont Circle up Massachusetts Avenue, is a sting of 46 embassies and chanceries that help shape foreign policy by allowing issues to be discussed without the glare of public announcement.

10:00 AM         Washington National Cathedral - The Washington National Cathedral in DC is the sixth largest Cathedral in the world and is the second largest Cathedral in the United States.  It is considered a Gothic masterpiece.

White House Photo Stop - See where the President lives and works.  This icon of America has been the home of all the Presidents since John Adams.

1:00 PM                 Group Photo - You will receive your own copy of a panoramic photograph of your group in front of the
U.S. Capitol as a souvenir keepsake from the trip. This is a perfect time to wear any dark green shirt or sweatshirt.

2:20 PM                 Capitol Visitor Center - Since 2008, the new U.S. Capitol Visitor Center provides a welcoming and educational environment for visitors to learn about the unique characteristics of the House and Senate and the architecture and art of the U.S. Capitol.  The visitor experience is an intellectual and emotional encounter comprised of highly personal moments that inform, involve and inspire those who come to see the U.S. Capitol.

Optional Activity: Visit the Library of Congress

Receive a Meal Voucher for the Food Court at Fashion Centre at Pentagon City which will provide many options for your meal in this world-class shopping experience where avenues of fashions and
boulevards of style await. The sky lit Food Court features international specialties from the familiar to the exotic.
